The Eta Carina Nebula is the Southern Hemisphere's largest and brightest nebula.  I took this image of it with a Canon 350D camera at prime-focus in an LXD-75 Schmidt Newtonian 8 inch telescope.  It is a stack of 44 x 30 second exposures ISO 1600 with in-camera Noise Reduction On.  Aligned manually in MaxDSLR and processed in ImageReady.
